Tajco China

In recent years, Tajco Group A/S has experienced considerable growth. As a result, any further extension of the capacity of Tajco's Danish production was no longer possible.

It was therefore obvious to locate the additional capacity in a geographic area which would contribute to reducing the high Danish production costs and thereby ensure Tajco's future competitiveness.

Research into the possibility of locating production in China was initiated at the beginning of 2004.

In April 2005, production in China was started and at the end of 2006, Tajco Manufacturing Ltd. obtained certification according to ISO/TS 16949.

From January 2009, Tajco will only have production in Ningbo, China. Tajco Ningbo is 100 per cent owned by Tajco Denmark.

 
The production in China is located in new buildings in a modern industrial park outside Ningbo.



Ningbo is situated in a neighboring province to Shanghai and is strategically well placed at China's eastern coast. Ningbo is a modern and dynamic city with a highly developed infrastructure. The city is directly connected with China's main railway and motorway network.

Ningbo is situated 20 km from China's second largest harbor, Beilun Harbor, with several weekly departures for Europe and USA.

Tajco China is a modern company, which fully meets Western European standards. It is managed by Danes and based on European principles and systems.

The actual production is carried out on new and modern productive equipment. The processes are based on familiar technologies.



Tajco China's capacity is based on an annual production of 3.5 million exhaust extensions. In the long term, it will be possible to extend the capacity in the area further.
